It has been said in the music industry that “it’s not what you know, but who you know, that makes one successful.” Taylor “Cas Metah” Hogle may argue that who you know, has a great impact on what you know. A quick listen to the Ohio native’s music reveals his understanding that life is about relationships. A glance at his discography reveals just how well he understands it, and how well he puts it into practice. Cas Metah is a friend to all true hip-hop heads, and he thinks it’s about time you get acquainted.
Taylor Hogle fell in love with hip-hop as a teenager. Never one to shy away from commitment, Cas wrote raps for two years before ever touching a microphone! In 1997 he began recording homemade mixtapes and gaining a rep locally. In 2002 Cas pressed up Key Tah Life, his first album of all original material. A chance meeting with former SolSeeker/TunnelRat, JustMe in ‘03, led to a great friendship and the formation of Scribbling Idiots.
Once Scribbling Idiots got together, Cas Metah kicked it into high gear. In 2004 the crew released Scribbling Idiots Present JustMe & CAS METAH. In ‘05 Cas dropped his second solo effort Dimension Tide., and contributed to Episode 1: The Unification, a compilation album by Trans-Atlantic crew G-Force Alliance. He also left his mark on SI’s now classic mixtape Idiomatic Volume One. All the while Cas and the crew performed throughout the Midwest. Landing gigs with Skillet, GRITS, LA Symphony, Mars Ill and others created a large buzz in hip-hop circles.
Due in large part to Cas’ tireless work in the studio, Scribbling Idiots landed a deal with Illect Recordings. In 2006 the crew teamed up with hip-hop legend Masta Ace to release their first 12” single, “Told You So” b/w “Through The Clouds”. In 2007 Mr. Metah released his second solo album. An emo-hop masterpiece full of soul-baring confessionals, Providence Road. has gained critical praise and helped to strengthen Cas’ hardcore following. A following that would grow even larger with the 2008 release of The Have Nots by Scribbling Idiots. A special version of The Have Nots was recently re-released in Japan, and the crew’s popularity continues to grow.

Trevor Lee was born in Huntsville, AL, but spent his adolescence in Galveston, TX. He relocated to Houston, TX as a senior in highschool where after most of his industry development began behind the scenes as creative director for regional acts.

Notable associates include "Ten Toes Challenge" creator Bubbagotbeats, super producers MixbyBrandon & Bruce Bang, rap artist/activist AJ McQueen, & multi-platinum streaming rap artist Druzu.
 
Labeled as a leader in Houston music by Ky Meyer of Muzik Houston, he's performed at festivals such as SXSW and Boomin by the Bay, shared billing with Houston stars Lil' Keke, Bun B, Tob Nwigwe, and acts like Big Daddy Weave & Tedashi.

George White Jr aka GefromtheO aka Iceberg Ge. I was born in Columbus, OH October 7, 1990. Growing up in the city as a young teen and experiencing life that some would call there lowest point had the biggest influence on me to rap. Growing up during the Golden Era of music my biggest influences were Bone Thugs, 2pac, Sade, Wu-Tang and D'Angelo just to name a few. I have a Bone Thugs/Curren$y type flow giving you a high vibrational knowledge and street experience. I formed my sound from years of practice to still not have yet got it where I want because I know music is infinite; and in that I hope to share my fragment of that precious piece of my soul reflected through music.

Stetsasonic was an American hip hop group formed in 1981 in Brooklyn, New York. They are remembered as one of the first hip hop crews to use a live band, and their positive, uplifting lyrics have made the group forerunners of alternative hip hop and jazz rap. The members are Prince Paul, Wise, DBC (the Devastating Beat Creator), Daddy-O, Delite, Bobby Simmons, and Fruitkwan aka Frukwan.
Originally, the group was known as the Stetson Brothers, but they changed their name to Stetsasonic for their debut, On Fire, due to their preference of Stetson hats. The album received mixed reviews, though the follow-ups, In Full Gear and Blood, Sweat & No Tears were critically acclaimed.

Lyrics, is an American rapper who grew up in Edison, NJ. Lyrics is the older brother to famed RnB singer Pamela Long from the Legendary group Total. Lyrics began writing raps at a young age & by the age of 14 he had begun performing at different talent shows throughout New Jersey & also started recording music. By the time he was 17 he had become well respected for his wittiness and clever wordplay amongst his peers. Throughout his early years, Lyrics was a part of several failed rap groups until he teamed up with a 6 man group called the Union, who were eventually signed by Platinum Records. As a member of the Union, the group went on to gain national attention by collaborating with some of hip hops elite artist like the late great Big L, AZ, the late Guru from Gang Starr, Twista, CL Smooth, Cormega, Raekwon the Chef and RnB sensation Total just to name a few. The group also made several TV appearances, Including B.E.T.’s show Rap City, and Planet Group alongside rap legend CL Smooth. The Union released the critically acclaimed album “Hard Labor” in the summer of 1997 with lead single “She Love Me” featuring Lyrics, Pam Long & Keisha Epps of the famed group Total. Now stepping out as a solo artist, Lyrics has released a few projects. His newest release A Dollar & A Dream :Reloaded is out now on all digital platforms worldwide!!
